Program Overview

The Leadership Licensure Program (LLP) is a unique, MDOE-approved, highly selective program with rigorous academic and performance standards coupled with high support for participants from MSSAA, Teachers21 and MASCD during the instructional program, the practicum and the first year of employment as a school administrator. The Leadership Licensure Program – Superintendents Cohort (LLPS) is our newest program for current administrators and is offered in partnership with READS Collaborative.

Candidates whose LLP application is postmarked on or before
January 31, 2008 will receive a $200 credit towards tuition.

Click here for information about the Master of Education Degree in Organizational Management available in conjunction with Endicott College.
Official copies of scores from either the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or the Miller Analogies Test (MAT), taken within the last five years, are required by Endicott College, unless you already hold a Master’s Degree. Test results must be submitted to the LLP by the first week of class in July if you plan to earn graduate credit from Endicott.

Official copies of scores from either the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or the Miller Analogies Test (MAT), taken within the last five years, are required by Lesley University.  Test results must be submitted to the LLP by February 2009 if you plan to earn your Doctorate from Lesley.

All candidates are required to obtain a qualifying score on the MTEL Communication & Literacy Skills test before applying for Initial Licensure as a principal/assistant principal, or supervisor/director with the Department of Education. We strongly recommend that applicants take this test as soon as possible. Candidates who have successfully completed this requirement will be given priority. You may obtain information and the registration packet for this test by calling National Evaluation Systems, Inc. at (413) 256-2892 or at http://www.doe.mass.edu/mtel/. Test dates can be found at: http://www.mtel.nesinc.com/MA11_testdates.asp
