CENTRAL AND WEST REGIONAL REPRESENTATIVE

The MSSAA Cheerleading Committee is seeking a new CENTRAL AND WEST regional representative to replace Ms. Heather Johnson and Jenna Maloni on the Cheerleading Committee.  The individual must be a coach of a high school cheerleading team within the Central Region and West Region.  In addition, the individual must be willing to commit to attending and participating in the following (all at the MSSAA office in Franklin) - the next Committee Meeting is scheduled for June 10th at 12:30pm.

four-five cheerleading committee meetings per year - two regional meetings for coaches per year - judges clinic

The individual must be able and available to field questions from coaches in his or her region via e-mail.

Any interested individual must submit a cheerleading resume to Jenifer Pinkham as soon as possible.  The individual may e-mail the resume to jpinkham@mssaa.org or fax it to 508-541-9888.

~ Tournament Directors / Regional Coaches Representatives ~

The Cheerleading Committee shall oversee and regulate all cheerleading activities; develop for MSSAA Board of Directors action a recommended budget for cheerleading activities; approve financial commitment associated with cheer- leading activities; organize and sponsor Cheerleading Tournaments that will lead to State Championship(s); recommend to the MSSAA Board of Directors those to be engaged and the stipends for those engaged to fulfill activities sponsored by the Cheerleading Committee.
